Site Basics

Winner Bingo is one of a growing number of online bingo sites operating on the Virtue Fusion and has made quite splash since its debut with a number of TV ads and radio promotional spots. However, despite all the hoopla what is it really like to play at Winner Bingo?

Bright would be the first word that springs to mind when you arrive at Winner Bingo. A very vivid orange and a rather striking blue are the predominant colors used, along with a heavy dose of cartoon imagery and animation. Not the most sophisticated looking online bingo site you will ever see and there is so much going on on every page that it can become a little confusing. However, keeping in mind that appearances are not everything you do need to dig a little deeper to find out what Winner Bingo is all about.

As previously mentioned Winner is a part of the Virtue Fusion Network, something that means that the gaming selection will be similar to that offered on more established sites such as William Hill and Ladbrokes. In fact, Winner is also a sportsbook just not one that is as well-known as the turf accounting giants we just mentioned.

In terms of actual play you can choose play online via a PC/laptop etc. or to access a selection of games via the Winner Bingo App. To obtain the app, which is available for iDevices and Android smartphones and tablets you can either scan a QR code from the main site to be taken to the app download page or text in to be sent the link.

Navigating the site itself can prove a little frustrating as there do seem to be a number of broken links and at busy times - mainly early evenings and weekends - it can be very slow going in terms of game loading times. The navigation itself though is fairly clear which is a plus.

The biggest gripe to be had with Winner Bingo is the customer service. It is not that the representatives are initially slow to respond; in fact they usually do so very quickly. The problem is that they do not seem very knowledgeable and you may find yourself asked to 'hold' for quite a long time while the rep attempts to find the answer to your query.

Types of Games

Like all Virtue Fusion sites, the gaming selection is split between bingo games and online slots, as it is rare these days to find a site that focuses exclusively on bingo. In terms of the bingo games on offer, there are usually between nine and 16 rooms open at given time, offering a variety games from the simplest 90 ball basic games to themed offerings such as Deal or No Deal Bingo and Joker Jackpot. There are also special rooms accessible by certain members only (newbies, higher level loyalty club members etc.) and weekend tournaments that can be rather lucrative.

In terms of slot offerings there are a number of very familiar games available as well, including the Marvel Superhero Progressives, Gladiator, Rocky and UK specific offerings like Britain's Got Talent and the X Factor.

Bonuses

The new player promotion that has been getting all of the (paid) TV and radio publicity is the £40 new player bonus, which becomes available to any player who deposits £10 or more into a real money account within the first seven days of registering as a user on the site.

There is more you should know about that bonus of course, as is the case for any bonus offered at an online bingo site. The actual bonus is awarded in the form of £30 for use in bingo rooms and £10 for use on slot games.

Both bonuses are subject to a x4 play-through requirement and both bonuses have to be cleared in order for the money to be fully credited and this does all have to be achieved in 30 days so this bonus will really only be of use to those players who intend to play rather often.

On an ongoing basis actual cash bonuses are rather hard to come by. There are small deposits offered on weekends (usually a 50% deposit match) and a limited number of deposit bonuses offered on weekdays.

Promotions

There are certainly a lot of promotions on offer at Winner Bingo. Almost every day sees the launch of a new one and there is a loyalty program to join as well. You do have to be rather careful with the promotions though as many do have play-through requirements. There is however a fairly good selection of free bingo games on offer on weeknights that can be worth watching out for.
